Purpose:
- The Lead Science Teacher is responsible to build an innovative Science curriculum, for Senior School which prepares students from Bangladesh to be ethical and pluralistic leaders for their communities. To provide students with learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, challenging and significant through enabling inquiry, based on the beliefs and other values of the IB within the context of the mission and ethos of the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka. To ensure that students make progress as a result of their learning, to monitor this progress and plan interventions, as necessary, to maximise each student’s achievements.
Skills:
- Previous teaching experience of senior school Science (Physics)
- Comfortable and adept with information technology including MS Office and Managebac
- Excellent command of English (at C1 on the ECFRL scale) and preferably Bangla – both written and oral.
- Knowledge and understanding of Subcontinent cultures.
